A highly spiced up version of Minecraft with hundreds of new features that add onto Mincraft rather than changing it completely.

Description

Introduction

just for the sake of understanding, here are some details: over 110+ new mobs, a reimagined combat system, hundreds of vanilla improvements, 3 tech mods that are not necessary to play the modpack to completetion (mekanism, immersive engineering, and create), a variety of new structures, and new mechanics.

with all the new capabilites that have been made available to the player, it wouldn't be fair to simply allow these new additions to shadow over vanilla minecraft, right? so in response to that, many of the vanilla things have also been changed to be harder, most notabaly, the Ender Dragon fight (probably my favorite change). i won't spoil anything here, but it feels like a proper boss fight now.

TIPS; you should read these

  • Once spawned in, your first objective should be to get a piece of flint, as it will greatly speed up the process of getting your first tree (mine the base of the tree with the flint).
  • It is advised you bind keys as you discover features, but if you really want to go through the entire keybind menu, be my guest. (dont bind anything to 'B')
  • Simply disable shaders if your computer can't run them. THEY ARE ON BY DEFAULT.
  • Yes, the combat system changed. It is disgusting, but required for certain features. To make proper use of this system, incorperate dodging and (if pvp) feinting (check keybinds).
  • There is a temperature system, so don't go swimming to the depths of the ocean without considering warmth (you can use a sewing table to sew materials into armor, or simply wear warm equipment, ambient temerature sources like fire work aswell).
  • In order to set a spawn point, find a respawn obelisk.
  • To properly fight most mobs that hold shields, either temporarily disable their shield with an axe weapon, or ignite them prior to hitting them.
  • There is a toggle keybind to make weapons unable to mine, search for 'mine' in the keybind menu.
  • You can not come back from all deaths. (not intended)
  • Milk is the key to curing any ailments, drink it when feeling unwell. And if one drink doesn't aid you, drink another.
  • If you fall through the floor, dig out immedietely, otherwise you will be sorry for not doing so.
  • You would be wise to create a shelter by day 15, there are Hordes.
  • Golden foods can cure zombie infections, but so does milk (unless stage >= 3).
  • Do not stay in the dark for too long.
  • The blue bar above your health (sometimes above hunger) that you see on spawn is not thrist, but rather something else that you will fully discover once you have an enchanting table.

Additional Info

All Critisicm is Welcome

this modpack contains many mods meant to add, improve, and sometimes even remove features of vanilla Minecraft. you are certain to find it difficult at first, but with time you will get used to it. this modpack contains 296 mods as of writing this, despite that, it doesn't fail to run (on shaders) with ~40-60 fps on mid-range hardware.

beware, this pack has the integerity of a toothpick holding up a bowling ball, so expect many bugs (not many crashes from my experience). also, If you see asian text in chat, ignore it, it is an echo of a former bug that holds no need for concern any longer.

this mod does contain a reimagined version of the cave dweller, but he rarely appears and even on the rather rare occasion that he does appear, he is more of an enemy than a force of nature. he can be disabled when downloading the file for this pack i'm pretty sure, though i may be incorrect.

the provided images suck at the moment, but i can't be bothered to take better ones as of right now.

the shader that is being used can be disabled for better perfomance without any considerable impact to gameplay. i advise against changing its configs, as i have optimized it for this mod pack.

BUGS

If you find any bugs, leave a comment and i'll see to it that it is fixed. Of course that is only if i CAN fix it. Known bugs are listed below

  • on occasions, when spawning into a world, the outro of a boss fight theme will play (it's short, don't worry) - I've attempted to fix this, yet my efforts were in vain
  • there is a chance for the game to implode when rendering a salmon - Unfixable
  • this does work on mulpiplayer, but hasn't been fully optimized for it - expect minor graphical anomalies when playing with friends. - So insgnificant to the point that i refuse to waste time on fixing it

Required Credits

i couldn't find any modders requesting credits while reading through the descriptions of all 274 mods, and i sincerely apologize if i missed them. if you see your mod here uncreditied, simply leave a comment and i'll happily change the description to pertain to your needs once notified.
