KCALibrated Modpack

A Modpack for the KCALibrated eSports Minecraft server. Using 1.12.2 as its base, this modpack mainly focuses on a light number of mods to keep a fun and balanced early game while giving more post game content, and minor quality of life fixes.

This modpack hits on most of the all time classic mods, containing Thaumcraft, one of the most notable magic mods of all time, Applied Energistics 2, a forerunner for all tech mods currently out there to find, and Biomes O' Plenty, the most popular biome generation mod to date. The other major content mods included within this pack are PSI, a custom magic mod that allows you to program your own spells, and Tinkers' Construct, a custom weapon forging mod that is super well know. The modpack lastly ends up with Dynmap and FTB Utilities to make both exploration and teamwork fun and effective. All of these combine to make a beginner friendly modpack that will provide both a vanilla and lightly modded experience with both quality of life changes and a few large new mechanics.
