Description
THIS PROJECT IS ARCHIVED AND WILL NOT RECEIVE FUTURE UPDATES
Lad's Client is a set of client mods that add simple quality of life changes as well as adding some helpful utilities. When playing on a server make sure each mod is okay with the owners.
Not all mods are included in the .zip (license prohibits distribution). You should just download the mods from each page to support the creator.
(THIS IS A LIST OF FORGE MODS)
Client Tweaks: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/client-tweaks
Adds several helpful configurable utilities.
AppleSkin: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/appleskin
Adds GUI elements that show saturation and previews of how much food will fill.
Light Overlay: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/light-overlay (requires Architectury API)
Shows where mob spawning can occur when the F7 key is pressed.
Architectury API: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/architectury-forge
Dynamic Surroundings: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/dynamic-surroundings (uses Cloth Config API but is not required)
Adds ambient noises as well as several new noises along with extensive configuration. (One of my favorite mods ever)
Cloth Config API: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/cloth-config-forge
Makes a better configuration screen. Not required for Dynamic Surroundings but otherwise you'll have to edit the config file by hand.
Neat: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/neat
Adds health bars above mobs and players. Has some pretty good configuration as well.
SwingThroughGrass: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/swingthroughgrass
Allows you to attack through grass instead of breaking it while fighting.
The following mods are not included with the download. (license does not allow redistribution or another reason)
Dynamic Music: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/dynamic-music
Adds music queues and other music related things. (I have not tested this mod often)
Xaero's World Map: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/xaeros-world-map
Creates a toggleable map that grows as you explore. Helpful for keeping track of where you've been and where to go.
Xaero's Minimap: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/xaeros-minimap (or instead use) https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/xaeros-minimap-fair-play-edition
Adds a minimap as well as waypoints.
Optifine: https://optifine.net/downloads
Adds performance improvements as well as support for shaders, connected textures, and custom skies.
If you're interested in learning more about each mod go look at the mod pages.
