Introduction
Lands of Adventure is a modpack with a distinct focus. Though similar to other adventure-focused packs, Lands of Adventure separates difficulty from tedium. KeepInventory being on and MobGriefing being off by default are core pillars of the pack's design, as it's meant to make the management aspects of adventure and exploration easier than ever- while simultaneously making combat and dungeon-crawling more difficult and interesting. With StackUp and Improved Backpacks, even storage and inventory management are easy feats.
Featuring a plethora of new biomes, owing to the inclusion of Biomes O' Plenty and the Defiled Lands. There are also several popular dimension mods ranging from the venerable Aether and Twilight Forest, to the more recent Atum, Erebus and Betweenlands- plus infinite possibilities with Mystcraft! Try out new ways to fight with Electroblob's Wizardry! You can even live as a nomad, thanks to Nomadic Tents!
The pack additionally includes Lost Cities as an optional world type, complete with some custom configs meant to resemble the Mysteries of Arcadia Youtube series.
Thanks to Doomlike Dungeons and its extensive config system, you can explore sprawling, unique dungeons scattered across the Overworld, Nether and Beneath, each dimension with its own host of unique dungeon types.
Explore spider-infested, webbed-up dungeons, crumbling ruins and ancient libraries filled with forbidden knowledge. Discover a mysterious, grim factory with rusted metal and pulsing flesh, an obsidian fortress populated by creepers, or an ancient seabase, long-abandoned. There's so much to find! In the distant, verdant reaches of the world, you might even find a truly ancient place...
Note: With the addition of Fire Spread Tweaks, fire now no longer spreads and destroys by default, but it still burns out.
This mod sets doFireTick to false by default to replace the vanilla system with its own, but you can type "/gamerule doFireTick true" to restore vanilla functionality.
