Description

This modpack does NOT include any magic or tech mods, as to stay true to its inspiration. (both Atum and Useful Railways were mostly added for my friends, and might be removed in the future)

This modpack is heavily inspired by the vibes of Life in the Woods: Renaissance but should be in no way seen as an official successor of the original modpack. I found the original modpack heavily outdated, so I tried to mimic it as closely as I can in 1.16.5, though I had to replace some mods from LitW:R.

I highly recommend that you use Optifine, as it makes the game run smoother and enables the usage of shaders (I personally am quite fond of BSL Shaders). I suggest using 4 GB of RAM without Optifine and up to 6 GB with Optifine (or maybe my computer is really poorly optimised lol)

A resource pack (credit: doodooxyz) is included with the modpack, that replaces the old ore textures with the new (1.17+) ones. You're very welcome to use it if you wish to do so.

Changes to the original:

Ancient Trees: hasn’t been updated in ages, but Biomes o’ Plenty’s and OTBYG (Oh the Biomes You'll Go) trees are a very nice replacement imo

AnimalsPlus: hasn’t been updated, replaced by Alex’s Mobs

AntiqueAtlas: included

AppleCore: now called AppleSkin, included

AutoSapling: replaced by TreeHarvester

Backpack: couldn’t find the original, replaced by Sophisticated Backpacks

BetterFoliage: included

BiblioCraft: last version is 1.12.2, so no luck there, but OTBYG and other mods have at least some nice bookshelves

Biomes O’ Plenty: as mentioned before, included

Carpenter’s Blocks: sadly, hasn’t been updated since the original release, but I have replaced it by BlockCarpentry

Chisel2: included

EasyCrafting: not sure what it does, and couldn’t find the original

EnchantingPlus: sadly not available, but somewhat replaced by EasyMagic (not a magic mod, it only changes the enchanting table a little bit)

ExtraBiomesXL: replaced by Biomes O'Plenty and OTBYG

ExtraButtons: there are more than enough buttons from all the mods, unless the mod did something else

Farseek: couldn’t find the original, also no clue what it does

GardenStuff: mostly replaced by Farmer’s Delight

Gravestones: removed, as quark provides a similar function

HungerOverhaul: I'm not sure how the original worked, but I think Spice of Life: Carrot Edition is a good replacement

InventoryTweaks: included

LitW:R: it was mostly a GUI and issue resolving mod, the GUI will be managed by PackMenu, and issue resolving will come if the need arises

NotEnoughItems (NEI): replaced by JustEnoughItems (JEI), which is basically the same mod

Pam’s HarvestCraft: included (v2)

PlantMegaPack: mostly replaced by mods like Simple Farming, and others

RedstonePasteMod: not sure if it’s a lib, but otherwise couldn’t find it, so not included

Ruins: haven’t found the original, so I replaced it by YUNG’s mods, Dungeon Plus and Repurposed Structures

SoundFilters: included

VeganOption: I couldn’t find anything, but I'll try and find a replacement (or maybe just make one myself)

Waila: replaced by Hwyla, continuation of Waila

Credits: XP Tome (bl4ckscor3), Hwyla (TehNut),  Polymorph (TheIllusiveC4), Macaw' Roofs, Doors, Windows (sketch_macaw) (list to be completed)
