WARNING: As of v1.5.0 this modpack can create and mess with files. Please use /safemode_toggle if you want to disable these features.
While on a walk, I discovered a strange usb on the ground with "Minecraft" written on it. After curiosity got the better of me, I plugged it in and noticed a warning, telling me to delete the file. I ignored it and began playing. From what I noticed, it truly was a real lost Minecraft version. Minecraft Devbuild 1.20-pre7, a version never mentioned on any wiki. However, something felt strange while playing. As soon as I started up the game the regular Mojang loading was replaced with an eerie warning message, the panorama was distorted, and while playing the world had a CRT filter on.
The music sounded off and quite eerie while the world felt abandoned and lonely. I realized that there were many features that seemingly didn't make the cut into Minecraft. What went wrong to make them scrap everything from this version and attempt to delete every trace of it?

ATTENTION:
Lost Version might be the scariest modpack you can find on curseforge. This modpack has great immersion and most things are subtle or rare. If you're a youtuber, it may take a while to get any encounters and you may need to explore and find structures for specific encounters.
This modpack was heavily inspired by MCSX and Minecraft liminal spaces/ARGs.
