Inspired by the Mango Pack for Beta 1.7.3, this modpack aims to capture the essence of classic beta Minecraft, bringing back all the beloved features and mods for version 1.12.2. The original Mango Pack lacked multiplayer support, prompting the creation of this modpack to emulate the Beta experience as closely as possible while allowing for multiplayer and easier development. This is NOT a 1 to 1 copy of Mango Pack nor is it meant to be, as this project has gone down its own development path.

Currently, MangoPlus feels like a mix of the Mango Pack and Tekkit (the og one). It theoretically should be possible to follow any old tekkit classic tutorial and have it work still.

Current MangoPlus Features:

Forward-ported almost all Beta features to 1.12.2.

Includes textures, sounds, lighting, fog, mechanics, mob balancing, title screen, and combat from Beta.

Mimics Beta world generation with a few new features from mods.

Forward-ported classic mod textures and models.

Beta-fied Newer Blocks (Thanks to the Classic Alternative devs, your pack is awesome).

A ton of classic mods. All the hits from Mango Pack, plus a few extra I thought fit the vibe (however I'm very open to feedback if you think something doesn't fit).

An official server is planned for later release. For those interested in development, providing feedback, or simply playing once the server is live, Joining the Discord is highly encouraged. Your insights are very valuable to me as I'm not a Beta expert nor a modpack expert, and I want this to be a collaborative development process.
