Marsàn

Kind of vanilla, but a little better.

Marsàn is a lightweight modpack which aims to improve and extend the vanilla look, feel and content of the game, while still retaining a "minecrafty" vibe and being true to the spirit of the original game.eee

Some notable additions:

• New items focused on practicality and player expression, such as the chisel and sleeping bag
• Lots of new structures like villages, dungeons and temples
• Various graphical and audio improvements, including dynamic lights, ambient sounds, and more screen effects
• A few QoL changes like slightly improved HUDs, hotkeys for things like the spyglass and better tooltips

Keep in mind that Marsàn is in early beta, and there may be bugs and inconsistencies. At the moment, not much is changed that is not client-side. More gameplay/content additions will come in the future.

Note:

While a number of popular optimization mods, such as Embeddium, BadOptimizations and many other are included, this modpack can still be pretty resource intensive (blame mojang!), and may not run too well on less powerful hardware.

I mean, it's free and relatively small, so I'd say give it a try if it looks interesting.
