About

Description

BET stands for Build, Explore and Trade

This pack focuses around building different outposts in  order to gather  the available and needed resources  such as ores. Every ore only spawns in specific biomes but in large veins. You'll need to  find those oreveins in order to progress  towards machines and such. But be careful, the world actually has seasons and crops won't grow all year round, so you will need to have an eye on your farms and make sure you have a variety of foods at hand. Eating the same food repetitively will result in less effectivenes eating that food. With Minecolonies you are able to establish a stable environment for food and common resource generation and it  will help  you generating few of all the resources.

The early game is prolonged in this pack so don't expect to reach big automation early on. Stack limit has been reduced to 32 to encourage building stationary warehouses but you are able to pile up common resources on the ground with the StackUp mod.

Multiplayer

This pack was originally designed to be played with friends on a server. You'll need to settle in different location and mine the locally available resources and trade with the other players who have different resources available in their respective region.

Vision

While designing the pack I imagined the world would contain multiple settlements/cities in different locations of the map and the players travel around with horses and horsecarts and later on build a railway to transport their goods. In the endgame you are even able to build airports and craft planes!

Biome list for Ore generation:

Coal/Diamond:          Plains and arboreal forests

Iron:                          Mountainous biomes

Redstone/Lapis:        Desert

Copper:                     Fir forests
Aluminum:                Jungles

Silver/Lead:              Swamps

Uranium:                  Icy biomes

Gems:                      Rare biomes (f.e. BoP Origin island)
