Everything from recipes to mob drops are highly customized. Some examples are:

• Ore Dictionary unification for similar items like AE2 Flour and Pam's Harvestcraft Flour
• Farm animals are slightly rarer but drop a realistic amount of meat/drops
• Certain ores generate more often in certain biomes
