Description

Magic, Tech, Decoration, So many options, you will meltdown.

From the creator of Meltdown Imminent on Technic Pack, comes its newest version!  Now with more options than previously, and much more granular control over design.  When I wanted to assemble this pack, I was considering what I had in the previous version (1.7.10), and during the release of 1.11 a lot of mods updated.  So, if you have played the Meltdown Imminent pack in 1.7.10, you will be able to recognize it in this version.  However, there are many changes that have been made since then.  Such as the removal of Applied Energistics 2, and the implementation of Refined Storage, which to my opinion is basically an AE1 clone, but with AE2 features.  As I have kept mentioning Customization is at the heart of this modpack, providing you with LOTS of options on many things.  Pretty much every mod in this pack has its own power generation, some are specifically geared towards it, one in particular that I enjoy is Big Reactors, but since it has not updated to 1.10, I have found an off shoot of it called Extreme Reactors! (essentially they are the same mod).  An inclusion for power that I have made, and I am really excited to play with it myself is Deep Resonance.  The fact that you are building every aspect of the power generated is really awesome, and has for sure with its mechanics alone deserved its place in this pack.

I have noticed in the past when I ran this pack on my server, the server would occasionally get over loaded and require a restart every 6 hours.  This is purely because of all the mob farming that I had done which made it more difficult on the server, to change that and to make it a little more easier (fun) is Woot.  As it was described to me, it is a mob factory.  It will build and farm those mobs without ever spawning them.

Finally we get down to the design portion of the pack, where there are still even more options.  Some of the mods specifically that are added for this purpose is Chisel, Chisel and Bits, as well as Flowercraft, Flat Colored Blocks, and Silent's Gems.  In the previous incarnation of this pack I had added Carpenters Blocks, and various micro part projects, I was not very satisfied with the way that turned out.  Sure you could build some impressive things, but it wasnt under the same control as in a macro sense of the world.  If I want to place a pixel on a block, and then place a cover ontop of it, I should not be restricted to how to do that.  The important things to note in this pack is that you have what I would consider the ultimate control in terms of design for this pack.  You could spend hours tending to details, which is very much the focus of this pack.

Either way, I do hope that I have described the pack as best I could, in terms of focus and control, and I invite you to play this pack with a very open mind of choices and design.

Thank you all!,
