About
Description
MercuryFPS is a Remarkably Optimized fork that aims to meaningfully boost Minecraft's performance without the bloat found in many of the most popular modpacks (example: full Optifine feature parity that almost no mods make use of). This modpack ONLY includes performance mods. The rest is up to you.
MercuryFPS includes these performance enhancements:
- Better Block Entity rendering (OBE)
- Improvements to chuck generation (C2ME)
- Better Culling (Entity Culling, More Culling)
- Rendering Optimizations (ImmediatelyFast, Sodium)
- Memory Usage Optimizations (FerriteCore)
- And more!
FAQs:
Q: There are a lot of mods in this modpack. I thought you said there was no bloat?
A: Every mod we include meaningfully enhances performance. We don't include any mods that don't belong in a performance modpack.
Q: How is this mod different from Remarkably Optimized?
A: Remarkably Optimized greatly improves the performance of Minecraft, but it also includes mods that add features that are unnecessary in a performance modpack. Mercury strips those mods out, resulting in a completely vanilla Minecraft experience that performs up to three times as well as Vanilla Minecraft. You can decide what to add from there.
Q: What Minecraft Versions does MercuryFPS support?
A: Currently, MercuryFPS supports 26.2, 26.1.2, and 1.21.11. Check the Files page to make sure you're downloading the right one.
Q: Can I base my modpack off of MercuryFPS?
A: Yes! Just make sure to include credit (a link back to this page works).
