Description

MI:Lost Favor is a progression-focused modpack built around ages as the main, though not the only, progression gate, letting you fully experience every step on the path to the end without missing the less ambitious mods along the way.

We have filled the quest book with quests that describe the actual steps to progress through the modpack, as well as each mod individually, so you can rely on it to beat the pack. And, of course, there are plenty of gags and references in it.

Our main goal was to make the transition between different mods as imperceptible and believable as possible, so we made a lot of changes to achieve that, from recipe changes that link mods together to world-generation tweaks that make seemingly dissimilar mods feel like a cohesive whole.

We added a bunch of content exclusive to this modpack: new progression-related items, QoL stuff, unofficial lore, placers, and much more for you to explore.

The main technology-related mods are Modern Industrialization and Immersive Engineering, but «main» does not mean «the only one» and familiar names do not guarantee familiar gameplay. We do not want to spoil everything we prepared, so expect unusual changes in every nook and cranny of the pack.

Magic, like everything else, is divided into chapters. Just as Rome was not built in a day, you will not be conjuring real magic right away. You will start with simple druidic stuff and nature magic, then gradually master the system and grow into something far more powerful.

We also changed the way you explore this world. Beyond the usual «new structures, bosses, dungeons, yada yada» exploration has a real purpose here: defeating bosses is the only way to get new Curios slots, and dungeons often contain blueprints for powerful machines and other useful endgame automation tools.

We also tried to pre-configure everything we could so you do not waste time setting up keybinds or fixing conflicts, only to wonder why your inventory keeps sorting itself when you are trying to look up a recipe. We removed what was unnecessary and simplified what needed simplifying.

We made this modpack the way we would want a perfect modpack to be: not random kitchen-sink slop, but a carefully thought-out experience for you to enjoy. That said, do not blindly follow everything we say. Just have fun and play however you want, because Minecraft is first and foremost a sandbox, not a chore.
