Description
This is the modpack I used in my 100 Days Jungle Only video!
Key features:
Alex's Mobs, Better Animals, Unnamed Animal Mod (yes, it's actually called that), and Aquaculture to add many different new creatures to the game.
MoreVillagers, Guard Villagers, Savage and Ravage, and Illagers Wear Armour to upgrade villagers and make raids far more interesting. Be careful though, the raids are far harder than their vanilla versions...
Dungeons Arise, Repurposed Structures, Philip's ruins, and Valhelsia Structures make the Jungle much more interesting in terms of exploration, populating it with temples, ruins, and dungeons for you to explore.
There are many smaller upgrades to the base game, such as Falling leaves, Sophisticated Backpacks, Farmer's Delight, and Spartan Weaponry.
The aim of the pack is to make the jungle a far more interesting, albeit challenging, biome to explore and live in.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. To generate the world as one giant jungle biome, go to 'More World Options', select 'Single Biome', and choose Jungle.
2. This modpack can put a heavy strain on PCs, especially if you're running shaders. I also encountered a bug throughout recording where the game would occasionally freeze for a second.
3. Better Animals naturally spawns giant tarantulas in the jungle, and they spawn in the daytime as well as night. If you wish to turn these off, (as I did), download the config file at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xkb3u4amz1ns1V2nvwaHwA-b5iJGmoGM/view?usp=sharing. First generate your world, then go to your modpacks in the Curseforge program. Select 'Open files'. Go to saves, then open your save file. Click on 'serverconfig', delete the file 'betteranimalsplus-server' and replace it with the one you downloaded. The tarantulas will no longer spawn in your world!
