What is Nebulously Niche?

      A vanilla+ modpack centralized around the idea of an expansion to vanilla, Nebulously Niche attempts to both capture and tackle a series of features neglected from the game to deliver a new experience unearthed from the original. Faithful in a number of areas, it chooses to build onto vanilla experience in a cohesive way that reflects the vanilla+ modding scene's style.

~ Behind The Scenes

Complete reworkings of core vanilla systems, from the lighting engine to mob spawning, chunk loading and many others allow for players to experience quality of life features more unweighted by vanilla bugs and capable.

~ Charting New Frontiers

A fresh exploration experience, overhauling all three dimensions in lively yet familiar ways that fills in a great deal of missing content from vanilla's backlog of content, along with more under the scope of what vanilla could look like if placed in the hands of an experienced modding brain trust spanning a massive community.

~ Ears to the Ground

Nebulously Niche pursues features that might align with what the community wants in the future. The way it does this is not fully aligned with vanilla values; some mods break or bend ideal such as "One Block at a Time" but it pushes onwards, leaving little room for nostalgia impeding a more seamless experience. But nostalgia is unavoidable here, after all. Leave your music off if you don't like it is all I'll say, the music reworks tend to crop up some memories.

 While under the Vanilla+ banner, Nebulously Niche contributes a personal flavor to the minecraft experience, building upon the concept of astronomy lightly, yet not enough to make a sizeable difference. Various genres of experience are opened up and refined in it's core, and it aims to appeal to any player imaginable in some form.
