About This Pack

Neo Metropolis: Bountiful is my modern rebuild of the classic Sim City-style Minecraft experience. I hand-picked and configured 80+ mods to create a full urban simulation built on top of vanilla Minecraft — with a focus on city building, dining, careers, and community.

I made this pack because I missed the old Sim City modpacks, and wanted to bring that feeling to modern Minecraft using today's best urban-life mods.

👥 Career System — Jobs+ + Skill Proficiencies Each player can choose up to 2 professions. Combined with the skill proficiency mod, there are plenty of unique late-game upgrades to explore.

⚡ Performance — Sodium + FerriteCore + additional optimization mods Ensures stable FPS even as your city grows in size and complexity.

🧨 Explosion Protection — Creeper Firework Creeper explosions will no longer destroy your beloved city buildings.

Design Philosophy

This pack intentionally includes no quest system, keeping things completely open-ended — players discover gameplay and recipes through JEI. The mod list is kept lean to avoid overwhelming players, so everyone can build their city at their own pace.

This isn't just a mod dump — I personally:

  • Configured compatibility between Jobs+ and Skill Proficiencies.
  • Tested and adjusted compatibility across all 80+ included mods.
  • Carefully curated the mod list to ensure a consistent style without bloat.
