Description

New World: Awakened

!!! support for this modpack has been dropped in favor of my new upcoming modpack !!!

New World: Awakened is a fantasy-styled generalist modpack built for long-term worlds and varied playstyles.

It doesn’t try to force progression, lock content behind quests, or decide how you should play. Instead, it gives you a world that feels full of danger, things to discover, systems to interact with, and space to settle into whatever role you enjoy most.

You can chase powerful gear and bosses, spend your time building and decorating, dive deep into farming and cooking, or focus on large systems and automation. All of those paths are supported, and none of them feel like an afterthought.

A World Worth Exploring

The overworld, Nether, and End are all expanded and reworked to make exploration feel meaningful again.

Biomes are more varied, terrain is more interesting to travel through, and structures feel like real landmarks instead of quick loot stops. Dungeons, strongholds, ancient cities, and endgame areas are dangerous enough to demand preparation, even later into a playthrough.

Combined with ambient sound, wildlife, and environmental detail, the world feels lived-in without drifting too far from Minecraft’s vanilla identity.

Combat, Threats & Progression

Combat is a major part of the experience for players who want it.

Bosses hit hard, encounters are deliberate, and progression takes time. New enchantments, relics, artifacts, and gear options give you room to specialize and experiment instead of just chasing raw numbers.

You don’t need to engage with every challenge but if you do, the pack makes sure it feels worth the effort.

Building, Farming & Settling Down

Not every player wants constant danger, and the pack respects that.

There’s a heavy focus on farming, cooking, decoration, and building tools that make creating long-term bases, towns, and shared spaces genuinely enjoyable. Storage, backpacks, and quality-of-life features are there to reduce friction, not remove challenge.

You can absolutely play this pack at a slower pace and still feel like you’re engaging with its core.

Systems & Automation

For players who enjoy planning and optimization, the pack includes deeper systems and automation that reward time and creativity.

These systems are meant to support the world rather than dominate it, fitting naturally alongside exploration, combat, and building. They’re powerful, but never mandatory.

Multiplayer at Its Core

Although fully playable solo, New World: Awakened was designed with multiplayer servers in mind.

Different playstyles naturally support each other. Some players explore and uncover dangerous content, others focus on building shared spaces, farming, or trade, while others handle larger systems and infrastructure.

With claims, player shops, voice chat, shared maps, and a strong focus on performance and stability, the pack is built to survive long-running worlds with active playerbases.

Planning to play this modpack with friends? Having a dedicated server is the best way to experience everything the pack has to offer.

This modpack is proudly partnered with Wabbanode, a high-performance Minecraft server hosting provider. Wabbanode offers fast setup, reliable performance, and full support for large modpacks.

By clicking the banner below and using code " XRTHIX ", you’ll receive 25% off your first month of server hosting while also supporting the continued development of the modpack at no extra cost to you.
