Mainly, this is a modpack to make it easy to play on my server. But since it may be of value for others, I will leave it public. Feel free to download/use/record/modify/criticize. It is a work in progress, so I'll list my ideas for now, full mod list and more details coming soon:
I imagine it like "Survival Multiplayer ++", so i don't want to go overboard on changes. For instance, Botania or technology mods, i think they're too diferent from vanilla gameplay (however great and fun they are!) and kind of a game on their own. So i decided on three basic concepts:
Construction, Comunity and Exploration aka as CCE.
CONSTRUCTION:
More options - building blocks etc.
An example: The little things (by Chamiel) that adds stairs and slabs for many blocks i think are missing in vanilla.
Also vanity/aestethical mods just for fun like http://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/back-tools.
COMMUNITY
For now I am experimenting so I'll focus on the 2 other concepts, but i want to add in the future some griefing protection and economy. So at this point I'll add http://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/vending, but later other things like add Forge Essentials.
EXPLORATION
More biomes, mobs, dungeons - Doomlike Dungeons (by Blackjar72) and of course Biomes O' Plenty. Mo'Creatures i think it is a bit OP (for what i want, anyway) but it is a popular request from my subscribers so I am adding it.
That's it for now, as I said it is work in progress, so this will be updated frequently. Mod list will come soon, for now check each versions file "related projects" for this information.
