"On April 20th 2028, the first SUPERNOVA visible with the naked eye was spotted in the sky above our planet. Scientists were intrigued at first. There was never any recorded event in human history where a supernova was noticed. But now, there was. Immediately, everyone was asking what it meant. Little did everyone know, it was the end of human history. About a week after the discovery, scientists warned that the collision with the supernova was inevitable. It would reach our planet and burn its surface apart and irradiate it for centuries. Immediately, the world prepared for disaster. Fallout shelters were dug deeper and made significantly larger. I bought everything I possibly could to improve my chances of survival. I prepared the cryochamber to open once the surface of our world was safe... enough, once again. Whatever the surface looks like, I am afraid. Hopefully, what I prepared for this disaster was enough."

Welcome To Nuclear Earth.

In this semi-kitchen sink modpack, you must survive in a nuclear wasteland with a little bit of help at the start; however, you will very quickly have to learn for yourself. In this world, you must fight off hunger, monsters, and a new danger: radiation poisoning. Don't worry, in this race against the radioactive clock, you will have many opportunities to make dealing with those problems easier. With an arsenal of tech mods including: Tech Reborn, Mekanism, Ender IO, Industrial Foregoing, and of course: Nuclearcraft; you will be able to survive and thrive. As well as some magic mods including Astral Sorcery, Embers, and Thaumcraft. This is a modpack unlike any other.

Quests

You won't have to go in totally blind as there is a long quest line to tell you what order tasks should be completed, and even what some technology does.

Other Information

I have already defined the concept of the modpack above, but here's some more in depth information on the nuclear side of things:

- Nuclearcraft offers both a way to irradiate the entire world, and a way to counter radiation. This contributes to the main theme of the world. Some areas and dimensions are more radioactive than others.

As for world generation:
- This modpack features custom biomes that generate instead of the main world gen.
