Operation Black Rain: The Mission Lore:

"Bravo Unit: S.T.A.R.S. was deployed to an abandoned rural and urban land mass across a region in the United States Territory. While en route, the transporting helicopter was attacked by an unknown entity classified as "The Man." The helicopter crashed into an abandoned city, with Sergeant Player being the only survivor out of 8 soldiers deployed. Comms and nearby satellites were completely destroyed. The United States Army is currently working to strategize a rescue mission for Sergeant Player, but are unable to identify the specific area of their whereabouts. Now it is up to you to investigate the Region, gather supplies, and construct a base of operations to survive. The estimated time to complete the mission will take approximately 100 days to complete."
