Perihelion

A 1.21.1 NeoForge pack built for playing together and running smoothly.

I made Perihelion because I wanted a pack that my friends and I would keep coming back to, where everyone can find their own thing to do. Not everyone loves Create, so this pack gives you more than one path: build factories, study magic, run a tech base, take to the skies, or just head out and explore. It's built with multiplayer in mind first, and I'm focused on keeping it running well on both the server and your PC.

Pick your path

• Create: Create 6 with addons for trains, power, diesel generators, automated enchanting, ore excavation, big cannons and decoration
• Airships: Build flying machines with Create Aeronautics, Create Propulsion and Simulated Thrusters
• Magic: Ars Nouveau, Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, Occultism and Forbidden & Arcanus
• Tech: Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, Electrodynamics and Nuclear Science, with Applied Energistics 2 and Refined Storage for storage
• Exploration: The Aether, the Twilight Forest, Terralith world generation and YUNG's reworked structures
• Building and food: Chipped, Framed Blocks, Macaw's, Handcrafted, Design n Decor and Farmer's Delight

Built for multiplayer

Every mod is picked with servers in mind. There are plenty of different things to do, so players can each go their own way and still have something to trade and team up on. Simple Voice Chat is included for proximity voice.

Optimized

Perihelion includes Sodium, Lithium, ModernFix, FerriteCore and Clumps to keep frame rates up and memory use down, even with this much content.

What's next

This is the first release. A big update is already in the works that adds a player-run economy and a lot more content.
