No reviews yet
A hardcore modpack where survival is earned and death is constant. There are new mobs, ores, and items that make progression much tougher and slower. New realistic survival mechanics also make survival more than a challenge — it’s a grind.
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Centers on surviving in harsh conditions, managing resources, and fending off PvE threats.
Features content that solely expands on Vanilla mechanics and gameplay.
Ideal for small groups of players or cooperative gameplay.
Designed to be difficult and challenging for experienced players, often with many hours of gameplay.
Adds or expands fishing mechanics, gear, fish, or aquatic gathering.
Introduces lifelike mechanics and detailed enhancements to create a more believable and engaging experience.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

- Many performance mods for a smoother experience
- Tornadoes and storms that ravage the land
- A tougher farming experience with changing seasons
- A fishing overhaul that makes fishing actually worthwhile
- Harder natural healing combined with a thirst mechanic
- Temperature mechanics powered by Cold Sweat
- Randomized respawns unless a Respawn Obelisk is used
- More realistic torches
- F3 debug disabled, with maps, compasses, and clocks becoming more important
- An item physics overhaul
- A sound engine overhaul paired with tons of new ambient sounds
- Scarcer ores that become harder to obtain as progression advances
- Additional tiers of armor and tools for expanded progression
- Many new effects, items, and potions that can be both blessings and curses

- New curses that add an element of risk to enchanting
- Dangerous oceans filled with new aquatic threats

Important for Performance
Permadeath+ contains over 300 mods, so a large computer and 6+ gigabytes of ram allocated is recommended.
Multiplayer Compatibility
This modpack makes it easy to play with friends, featuring mods like Essential, Simple Voice Chat, plus a few others that improve communication. In version 100, Essential was removed due to poor performance issues and was replaced by e4mc.
I also recommend using this music pack alongside the modpack. it’s totally optional, but it fits the atmosphere really well.
