Permadeath+ is a hardcore modpack that slows down progression and makes every part of the game more challenging. Every system in Minecraft has been reworked to push your survival skills to the limit.

Features Include:

  • Progressive Difficulty that makes the world increasingly dangerous as you progress
  • Harder mobs, with both vanilla and new mobs gaining improvements and unique abilities
  • Overhauled advancement trees built specifically for the modpack
  • Many new mini-bosses to conquer
  • Many performance mods for a smoother experience
  • Tornadoes and storms that ravage the land
  • A tougher farming experience with changing seasons
  • A fishing overhaul that makes fishing actually worthwhile
  • Harder natural healing combined with a thirst mechanic
  • Temperature mechanics powered by Cold Sweat
  • Randomized respawns unless a Respawn Obelisk is used
  • More realistic torches
  • F3 debug disabled, with maps, compasses, and clocks becoming more important
  • An item physics overhaul
  • A sound engine overhaul paired with tons of new ambient sounds
  • Scarcer ores that become harder to obtain as progression advances
  • Additional tiers of armor and tools for expanded progression
  • Many new effects, items, and potions that can be both blessings and curses
  • New and more challenging boss fights for the Wither and Ender Dragon

  • Enhanced world generation featuring deeper oceans, improved mountains, more realistic rivers, and underground rivers

Important for Performance

Permadeath+ contains over 300 mods, so a large computer and 6+ gigabytes of ram allocated is recommended.

Multiplayer Compatibility

This modpack makes it easy to play with friends, featuring e4mc, which allows you to host LAN worlds that other players can join using a server IP provided in the chat. The modpack also features other mods that work well with multiplayer, such as PlayerRevive, which allows you to revive other players. Want to host Permadeath+ on your own server? You can easily host the modpack with Kinetic Hosting and play with a bunch of friends!

I also recommend using this music pack alongside the modpack. it’s totally optional, but it fits the atmosphere really well.
