PocketTuga is a Cobblemon modpack for Minecraft built around a complete adventure experience, combining Pokémon, exploration, progression, building, economy, and long-term goals into a single world.

From the moment you catch your first Pokémon to the day you stand above the strongest Trainers in the world, PocketTuga is designed to give you something meaningful to work towards. The world is filled with Pokémon to discover, structures to explore, resources to collect, challenges to overcome, and systems that reward players who take the time to explore everything the pack has to offer.

Exploration and Discovery

The world of PocketTuga is made to be explored.

Travel through forests, mountains, caves, oceans, deserts, and other diverse environments while searching for Pokémon, structures, valuable resources, and hidden treasures. Rare encounters and useful items can often be found far away from the safest areas, encouraging you to venture beyond your base.

With expanded world generation, structures, maps, waypoints, and additional exploration content, there is always another place worth discovering.

Whether you're searching for a rare Pokémon, looking for valuable resources, or simply wondering what lies beyond the horizon, exploration is a major part of the PocketTuga experience.

Storyline and Quests

PocketTuga features an extensive quest system designed to guide players through the many systems available in the modpack.

The main progression introduces important mechanics gradually, while additional quests provide objectives for exploration, Pokémon training, crafting, collection, battles, and progression through different mods.

Quests also cover major Pokémon mechanics such as Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Terastallization, Dynamax, Gigantamax, evolution, breeding, EV training, Held Items, and more.

Regional League questlines take progression even further, allowing Trainers to challenge the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh Leagues, defeat their Gym Leaders and Elite Four, and ultimately claim their League Trophies.

For players who want to complete everything, the journey doesn't end with a single Champion title. Collecting all four regional trophies leads towards the ultimate objective: becoming the True Pokémon World Champion.

Jobs and Professions

PocketTuga also features a dedicated Jobs system, allowing players to develop their character through different professions while naturally playing the game.

Instead of every player progressing in exactly the same way, Jobs gives you the opportunity to specialize in activities that match your preferred playstyle.

Available professions include:

• Miner — gain experience through mining and resource extraction.
• Farmer — specialize in crops, farming, berries, and agricultural activities.
• Fisher — progress through fishing and aquatic activities.
• Breeder — focus on Pokémon breeding, eggs, and related progression.

The pack includes progression for many of the mechanics that make modern Pokémon games deeper, including EV training, Held Items, Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Terastallization, Dynamax, Gigantamax, Egg Moves, and other advanced mechanics.

For collectors, there are also dedicated objectives for completing collections of items, Gems, Evolution Items, Mega Stones, Tera Shards, Z-Crystals, Held Items, and other rare resources.

Gyms, Leagues and Champions

Your journey as a Trainer eventually takes you beyond ordinary battles.

Challenge Gym Leaders, collect their badges, and prove that your team is strong enough to advance through each regional League.

Each region features its own progression through eight Gyms, the Elite Four, and a Champion, creating a long-term battle progression that rewards preparation and team building.

Those who manage to conquer all four regions will have proven themselves against some of the strongest Trainers in the world.

Economy and Community

PocketTuga includes an economy designed to give resources, Pokémon, and items greater value.

Players can earn money through different activities, participate in the economy, trade resources, and use their earnings to support their progression.

Jobs also connect naturally with this system, giving players another way to earn rewards while doing the activities they already enjoy.

Whether you focus on mining, farming, crafting, fishing, breeding, building, or Pokémon-related activities, your work can contribute towards your overall progression.

Building and Decoration

Your world is not just somewhere to catch Pokémon — it is yours to build.

PocketTuga includes several decoration and building mods that greatly expand the possibilities for creating homes, shops, Pokémon Centers, Gyms, farms, storage facilities, towns, and large-scale bases.

Additional furniture, lighting, windows, decorative blocks, building materials, and other aesthetic options allow players to create much more detailed environments.

Transportation and Exploration

Long-distance travel becomes increasingly important as the world expands.

PocketTuga includes several transportation systems designed to make exploration faster and more enjoyable.

Travel across the ocean with ships from Small Ships, or take to the skies using aircraft from Immersive Aircraft. These systems provide alternative methods of transportation while making exploration feel more like an actual journey rather than simply walking from one location to another.

Whether you're sailing across unexplored oceans or flying over mountains and forests, the world becomes much more accessible as your progression advances.

Technology, Utilities and Quality of Life
