About
PureTech is a relatively light weight pack with a bias towards technological mods, and one of the main drivers of this pack was to get the small details correct.
Disclaimer
This pack is currently under development and the contents should be considered volatile, but will begin to stabilise more with each release. Backup any worlds you care about before upgrading to new versions.
Theme of the pack
This pack will become focused around a limited number of specific tech based mods, selection will not be taken lightly, however the pack may include some mods that are not strictly tech based. This certainly isn't going to be a kitchen sink style mod pack, where as many mods as possible are crammed in.
Whilst this pack might not be that different to other modpacks in terms of content, I've spent a fair amount of time trying to get the configuration right, examples of this include:
- Duplication of ores, items and machines has been reduced to the absolute minimum.
- You
won'tshouldn't receive any spammy messages in chat when loading a world, popular mods have been replaced by less popular equivalents in some cases to achieve this. - The pack includes mods such as blood moon, but other than an occasional increase in mob activity at night, you won't know that a blood moon is occurring, that said, you might not even be aware of the increased mob rates, as nights are a very scary and dark place in this pack.
- JourneyMap has been moved to the top left, to avoid conflicting with effect status icons.
- WAILA interface has been tuned to look cleaner than the default settings.
- Ugly floating slime islands in Tinkers' Construct are gone.
- Biomes 'O Plenty is forced on by default.
This mod pack is currently under development and is currently released for single player worlds only, though a the pack will be fully supported on dedicated servers upon the first release build, which is due fairly soon.
