About

Description

This modpack is a Vanilla+ Quality of Life and Utility pack for Minecraft 1.21.10 (NeoForge).

The goal is simple: Minecraft should feel smoother, more rewarding, and less tedious.

========================
CORE FEATURES
========================

1) Improved Survival Convenience
This pack adds many small changes that make survival more comfortable while staying close to vanilla gameplay:

- Better sleeping and resting options for long adventures (Comforts, Comfortable Campfires)
- Less punishing travel and death recovery (Forgiving Void)
- More practical horse travel (Horses Can Swim)
- Reduced annoying vanilla behavior (Wandering Trader May Leave, No Animal Tempt Delay)

How this affects gameplay:
Survival becomes less annoying and more consistent, especially in multiplayer worlds where long travel, death recovery, and resource farming are common.

2) Inventory & Storage Upgrades (Without Breaking Balance)
Inventory management is one of the biggest pain points in vanilla Minecraft.
This modpack improves it heavily:

- Sophisticated Backpacks: upgradeable backpacks with better organization
- Easy Shulker Boxes: use shulkers more easily without constantly placing them
- TrashSlot + Trash Cans: instantly delete junk items
- Stack Refill: automatically refills your hotbar when you place blocks or use items
- Sensible Stackables: improves stack sizes for many common items

How this affects gameplay:
You spend less time sorting and fighting your inventory, and more time exploring, building, and playing.

3) Better Crafting & More Obtainable Items
This pack adds crafting recipes for many items that are normally annoying or RNG-heavy to obtain, while still requiring meaningful resources.

Craftable items include:
- Totem of Undying
- Name Tags
- Horse Armor (copper excluded as of modpack version 1.1.1)
- Elytra
- Experience Bottles
- Enchanted Golden Apples

How this affects gameplay:
Players can progress more consistently and feel rewarded for mining and exploring, without being forced into extreme luck-based farming.

4) Enchanting, Anvils & Trading Improvements
Vanilla enchanting and villager trading can feel frustrating and time-consuming.
This modpack improves them with several focused mods:

- Anvil improvements: no more "Too Expensive!", easier repairs, better usability
- Better enchanting workflow (Easy Magic)
- Enchantment descriptions directly in the UI (Enchantment Descriptions)
- Improved villager trading: trade cycling, trading post, and more consistent trading

How this affects gameplay:
Gear progression becomes more fun and less grindy, especially in multiplayer where players often specialize (builder, explorer, fighter, etc.).

5) Exploration & Movement Tools
To make travel and exploration more fun, the pack includes:

- Hang Glider for early-mid game mobility
- Easy Elytra Takeoff for smoother elytra usage
- Infinity Water Bucket for building and exploration
- Movement and combat quality improvements (Jump Over Fences, Cut Through)

How this affects gameplay:
Exploration becomes faster and less clunky, without removing the survival feeling.

6) Builder-Friendly Vanilla-Style Blocks
This modpack includes several building-focused mods that stay visually close to vanilla:

- Macaw’s Fences and Walls
- Macaw’s Paths and Pavings
- Macaw’s Lights and Lamps
- Diagonal Blocks / Walls / Fences / Windows
- Sooty Chimneys for better-looking builds
- Visual Workbench for improved crafting visuals

Furniture and decoration:
- MrCrayfish’s Furniture (Refurbished)
- SkniroFurniture
- Apple Crates

How this affects gameplay:
Players get more creative options for bases and towns without the world looking heavily modded.

7) Combat, Loot & Small Fun Additions
Several mods add small gameplay enhancements that make combat and progression feel better:

- Just Mob Heads: collectible mob head drops
- Spiky Spikes: useful defensive traps
- Magnum Torch: helps control mob spawning
- Cobweb tweaks: webs are less annoying

How this affects gameplay:
Combat and base defense become more interesting, and progression feels more rewarding.

8) Performance & Stability
The modpack includes mods and libraries aimed at stability and performance:

- Clumps improves XP orb performance
- Multiple libraries (Architectury, Balm, Puzzles Lib, etc.) are included for compatibility

How this affects gameplay:
Better performance in mob farms, multiplayer areas, and long-term worlds.

========================
