RealTech is a tech pack built on one idea: power generation should work the way it actually works.

You start with a campfire. You finish with a fission reactor feeding a steam turbine through the same cooling tower you built twenty hours earlier — because that is exactly how a real plant is laid out. The reactor doesn't replace your power station. It replaces the firebox.

The quest book is the point

248 quests across 17 chapters, and they don't recite recipes. They explain why.

• why steam has to be under pressure before it can turn anything
• what a cooling tower actually does with the heat, and why it stands where it stands
• why enrichment means separating isotopes by mass, and nothing else works
• what happens to a boiler when the water level drops
• why a network is limited by its weakest link, not its strongest generator

Every chain in the book was reconstructed by reading the mod files directly — recipes, multiblock structures, in-game manuals. The build order you get is the real one, not a guess.

The author works as a boiler equipment inspector at a thermal power plant. The steam chapters are written from the inside.
