Revenant Cataclysm is a 1.16.5 magic and adventuring questing pack. As the sister pack of "Myths and Magic"; Revenant Cataclysm will contain similar quests but with a uniquely different storyline involving creating a kingdom of magic. The focus is still on mastering magical disciplines, hunting mythical beasts but with the addition of a lot more dungeon and exploration mods mixed in. Mods will be added to the pack as they are updated to 1.16.5.
The current version of the modpack is alpha 0.0.3 which has a roughly finalized mod list.
It will remain in alpha until most of the mods have their basic questline finished at which it will become beta 1.0.0
Story:
Revenant Cataclysm takes several years after the Institute of Magic has entirely split up due to varying controversies between the schools. After a great war known as the "Revenant Cataclysm" many schools have ceased to exist while many have arisen seemingly from nowhere. It is up to you to once again reunite the people under a single banner and erect a valiant kingdom capable of leading the mages of the world.
Upcoming Content:
The next upcoming update will be focused on adding the first few quests as well as finding ways to integrate lore into the modpack. Feedback and suggestions are highly requested and I'd appreciate leaving your thoughts in the comments or in the community discord (link at the bottom).
Extra Information:
Recommended 6GB of RAM minimum.
Updates will come in the form of either important quest fixes or chunks of content.
Quest Fixes will usually be denoted by a change of the last integer (i.e 0.0.0 < this one)
Chunks of Content will be denoted by a change of the middle integer (i.e. 0.0. < this one 0)
Large Content Goalpoints will be denoted by a change of the first integer (i.e. this one > 0.0.0)
