Surviving on dust (literally!)

Imagine waking up in the middle of nowhere, floating on a single block in the void. You don't have a pickaxe, you have no mines to explore... but you have the air. Here, your journey begins by collecting the dust blowing in the wind, tossing it into a sieve, and hoping for something useful! It is from these tiny grains that you will gather everything you need to build your world from absolute zero.

How does it work?
The idea is to escape the sameness of traditional Skyblocks where you just break cobblestone all day. The focus here is a much more creative progression, playing with chemistry in a way anyone can understand, without needing to have paid attention in school:

  • Grain by grain: You start with the absolute basics. You collect dust from the air with a brush, sift the dust block, and discover the first chemical elements of your island.
  • Simple Chemistry: Mix the elements you sifted to create real materials. It's easy, intuitive, and highly addictive to figure out the combinations, always ready to uncover new processes.
  • Massive Factories: Over time, that dust becomes the fuel for heavy machinery. The modpack uses Modern Industrialization and Oritech so you can build gigantic production lines.
  • Zero Clutter: No more messy chests and duplicate items that serve no purpose. You can set up an early storage system using Tom's Simple Storage until you reach the milestone of storing everything in supercomputers using Applied Energistics 2.
