The top pack of 2026 with around 500 mods! Tons of quests and a proper endgame.

it's a pretty standard kitchen sink. lots of little mods to do. the questlines guide you through a lot of the bigger content mods very well, but smaller ones like dyson cube project or roots have nothing.

the ATM star exists more for spectacle than challenge. it has lots of components that are incredibly difficult to automate, which is why there's an alternative recipe that can be accessed after making some the hard way. the open-ended nature of the ATM star was really fun, it feels like the epitome of kitchen sink packs. use whatever you want and however you want to make a big difficult item.

it's a standard experience. nothing too special other than the big questlines.

The pack itself is decent and I have followed it a long time. The important caveat to this however is that the devs are transphobic and homophobic. That being said, the pack itself is really only good due to the mods that are in it, as other reviews have said, it is a kitchen sink pack and is only a little better than packs you can VERY easily make yourself with resources like prism launcher. The custom content includes the allthemodium, an ore that makes unbreakable tools, invalidating the need for, say, actually balanced tools that take either power or durability or are truly unbreakable but harder to get than just happening to be in a deep dark with netherite. This pack is by no means balanced and follows a simialr fallacy to original minecraft, you progress really fast and reach a point where you already have the best gear and are unkillable, so why play? theres nothing to build towards, the atm star being a decent idea for a goal but i personally never did it because adding random mods that have no benefits at all (due to not balancing ANYTHING except for the most random things like gating the lazer mining devices behind allthemodium despite a pick just being better????) make it so it simply isnt worth doing and isnt done for any reason other than the star. Seriously, you can have every mod in the world but if you make a mod pack and do no changes except for a dinky little mod that gives you op gear you may as well just use any other pack, hell an ftb pack can at least have some never used mods to keep things fresh.

I don't think this pack is bad but it certainly is low effort, especially if the dev team is homophobic and transphobic
its so easy to not play this pack because theres nothing unique to it that isnt the mods themselves, just make your own instance of mods and itll probably be better. with your own pack you get less bloat, no allthemodium, and no mods that vary between the best things ever or entirely useless.

One of the packs that actually hooked me for more than a week. I haven't "finished" it but I got close enough where I could just put in 2 days of work to finish it after playing it for a month or 2. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a wide variety of tech mods with great compatibility between them and a pack with an actual overarching goal.

Also it is refreshing to be able to play a non expert tech mod pack that actually feels rewarding to complete.

Also it runs well enough for 400+ mod pack.

Overview

An exceptional waste of time in my opinion. I always struggle with raw kitchen sink packs because what is there to review? The modpack offers nothing special outside of it's mod selection, which is not particularly unique. But, oh wait! The ATM team has got us covered because they bravely added the ATM STAR!

The ATM Star

What is it?

Wowy, surely it's a cool item... yeah about that. The ATM star only exists to craft creative only item, which on the surface isn't particularly bad. I have played packs in the past which do let you obtain way over-powered items, the caveat being you have to earn them. And well, I'm not going to say it's simple to get an ATM star, the tiny mini problem is that you can get to a place where you are essentially invincible and have stacks upon stacks of precious metals and stone. Then you encounter the ATM Star wall. Yay.

How do you get it?

The Star requires some of the most bullshit grinding I have seen in any modpack. Oh, but what about GT:NH. Well, my dear Gregtech: New Horizon is a wonderfully engineered pack where the attention to detail is truly incomparable. Your experience is tailored specifically to never, at any point go on a pointless five hour side quest to obtain one item, which is useless except for one single recipe for another pretty useless item! Oh, sorry did I say one item? I MEAN ALL OF THEM! Their all some random ass items that are add by the ATM Team exclusively to craft the ATM Star or is some random ass expensive item from some random mod which normally you would never even want to make!

How does the star connect with the rest of the modpack?

IT DOESN'T! Non of the modpack does anything special, it's just a bundle of 500+ mods! The guide book is useless, there is not cohesion the ATM Star is essentially another disconnected random mod! Nothing is modified, you try Mekanism? It's just Mekanism. Mystical Agriculture? Just Mystical Agriculture. RFTools... oh well no that's actually THE SAME THING. Well what about their mod choices? They spun a wheel, added it in, if the game didn't crash they gave a thumbs up. You know when a modpack's devs gave zero fucks when they add both Refined Storage and AE2. Pointless.

What about the rest of the pack?

Abominable.

Aesthetics

Generic modern Minecraft vanilla plus and that is WHEN the team actually added something of their own. It's so common and generic I am completely desensitized to it. It's like a corporate website.

Other Additions

Oh, sorry my mistake! The ATM Star is but one of the items they added. How about another one. Allthemodium. Allthemodium is a special metal you can obtain in the End... it's has some upgrade like Unobtanium... getting to Unobtainum takes like max 2 hours from Allthemodium... it's op gear in the most Minecraft sense, high defense and high damage. I hate it.

Well, how do you know you haven't even finished the pack!

Finished? What the fuck do you mean finished?! Do you mean obtaining the ATM Star cause brother I would prefer to play GT:NH no block than this.

Surely there's some good?

... I mean it didn't goatsee me I guess???

Librewolf wanted me to write this for some reason so here. Rutherfordium. I hope you're happy.

What started as one of the best modpack series, one of the most popular for large and kitchen-sink modpacks, has since fallen from grace.

When All The Mods was first created, there were only thousands of mods to choose from (at most), and most were new and good.
At this point, there are literal hundreds of thousands of mods to choose from, (mostly bad or we've all played them before) and ATM will either choose all the wrong options, or just cram the same 500 mods we've all played before into the pack.

The quests used to be fun and exciting and a challenge, and now it's just pages and pages of grinding.

Mods are fine, performance sucks, it's just gotten bigger and more-performance heavy, while not really improving the ATM series or concept. Play the other All The Mods modpacks first, even ATM 9 is better.

It seems to have very much fallen into the quantity > quality trap, and I hope they improve with next versions.
I do have to say that the tech mods/aspects of the pack are slightly better than some older ATM modpacks.

fairly competent for a kitchen sink pack but DREADFULLY unfocused. features progression for the sake of progression, several mods that trivialize resource procurement and management (looking at you, mystical agriculture), and absolutely no substantial goals after the dragon. apotheosis and mystical agriculture make any task in this an absolute cakewalk. fun with friends for a while but like what isnt. a grimly frictionless experience.

In my opinion, All the Mods 10 is a near-perfect modpack (10/10). First thing, the modpack is friendly to more casual players who want to learn and enjoy the vibe, while still being deep and rewarding for experienced players who enjoy complex systems and long-term progression.

One thing ATM10 does exceptionally well is player freedom. Unlike many other modpacks that heavily limit your progression and force you down a very specific path, ATM10 lets you play your way and at your own pace. You can rush tech mods as fast as possible, or take things slowly by exploring, building, or focusing on non-tech content. The pack never feels like it’s pushing you into a single “correct” progression route.

The ATM STAR is another major highlight. Even though the pack is very open-ended, it still offers a clear end goal for players who want something to work toward. You can either craft the ATM STAR normally or go a step further and fully automate it, which becomes a challenge on its own. The recipe is well designed because it encourages you to interact with mods you might otherwise ignore, often leading you to discover and enjoy mods you had never really touched before.

ATM10 is very fun in singleplayer, but it truly shines in multiplayer. Playing with friends makes everything feel more dynamic, especially when everyone focuses on different systems or mods. The pack also allows you to automate and produce almost anything, without completely breaking the game’s balance, in my opinion, which is impressive for a modpack of this size.

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that ATM10 is very well optimized overall, especially considering how much content it includes. Performance is solid, and the pack feels stable even during late-game automation.

Overall, ATM10 is the kind of modpack you can sink hundreds of hours into while still feeling free to experiment and play the way you want. If you value freedom, flexible progression, and a meaningful endgame goal, i extremely recommend.

Of course, that's just MY OPINION

I had some fun with this pack over the course of two playthroughs- first alone, then again with a few friends. As far as kitchen sinks go, it is pretty good. Many of the mods are well integrated into each other. But its still a kitchen sink - no real goals until endgame, poor balancing, a bloated mod list, etc..

I'm having a really great time with ATM10, especially since it was my first introduction to a lot of modern day tech mods. The quest book makes everything really accessible and easy to get into, and its been super fun to figure things out as I go.

Currently still working towards the atm star, I've taken a few breaks along the way.

As far as Kitchen sink modpacks goes, this is one of the better ones. At least, one that offers a bunch of different playstyles, goals, and branches to explore when it comes to tech, magic and automation; I had a great time with it, but is it good objectively ? No, not really.

The quest book is really nice, there's A LOT to it and I get it could get confusing for some people but for me, it was well organized and fun to complete each mods.

The main issue with ATM10, like any kitchen sink modpacks, is being badly balanced. The early game is very fun as you have so many options when it comes to making a storage system, ways to travel, armors and equipments to get etc.. But of course, once you get a way to fly, good enough armor that 99% of mobs can't do anything to you, and infinite ressources from basic automation; basically half of the content gets closed to you.

Why exploring all those tech mods that would result to the same end goal as the one I've already completed ?
Why learning all those spells and magic mods just to make gears and effect that are way too complex compared to other QoL mods that do the same thing in 5min ?

The best example is dimensions;
god the dimensions... basically all useless. You just can't reach and explore any of them before reaching a point where the loot isn't worth it, and all the exploration comes from flying from point A to point B to speedrun the questbook without experiencing anything it has to offer.
There's also the issue of lack of linearity with progression, especially tech. Either you have a linear pack, or multiple branches you can take to reach the same point. But there's just so many mods that 90% of your playtime is spent progressing on a single mod that does the exact same function as 3 others. Except one of them takes hours, and the other like 10min if you know what you're doing.

Kitchen sink modpacks are just not made to be enjoyed on a concise, well balanced experience. Like its name suggest it is SUPPOSED to be messy, but it makes so many great mods left to be desired.

I would still recommend this pack, especially if someone wants a modpack that has a bunch to offer everywhere you go without being TOO messy or confusing. But for more experienced players in modded MC or players who are looking for a tailer-made, well crafted experience, look elsewhere and especially not at Kitchen sink modpacks.

About

Description

All the Mods started out as a private pack for just a few friends of mine that turned into something others wanted to play! It has all the basics that most other "big name" packs include but with a nice mix of some of newer or lesser-known mods as well.

The biggest changes this time around are that we are now using NeoForge and we are on the version 1.21. Expect many updates as mods come out!

In All the Mods 10 we will continue the tradition adding many new mods while going for more stability.

Does "All the Mods" really contain ALL THE MODS? No, of course not.
