The world of Solara is a tough world with lots and lots of dungeons, dragons, OP mobs and a great leveling system.
The progression could feel a bit slow at first because you need levels and you cant just straight away craft stone or iron tools/weapons and use them. (wich is part of the Project MMO mod)
You will start in a village (your hometown). You will have to train hard there first because how further you go the higher level the mobs will encounter.
But luckily you can also start with your first spells by pressing H. You can also up your stats there. (part of the Mine and Slash mod).
For the spells you can choose between different classes:

-Ocean 
-Fire
-Storm
-Nature 
-Hunting
-Divine

Lets talk about DRAGONS! you can actually get your first dragon pretty easy!
No I'm not talking about the Ice and fire mod dragons (good luck with these :P).
I'm talking about the dragon mounts mod and you can find eggs in chests all over Solara!
These dragons are not too OP they can't shoot fire but they do attack see the draggons as a big pet flying wolf!
Yes you can fly them using a saddle but first feed your new buddy some fish only then the dragon will love you <3.

So make your own story! 
Explore the minshafts underground because this modpack is more than a cave update (yea the caves are actually worse than hell.... even satan is scared to go in)

Make sure to go to options and screw around with the hotkeys because thats still a issue.
