Huge thanks to all the mod authors and people who made structures for Recurrent Complex, RLCraft and RLCraft Dregora especially for being what gave me the motivation and early peek at howcraft tweaker and configs in general work. This is my first real project and first modpack published, and arguably almost as cruel as RLCraft can be in some aspects, which is intentional. Huge credits to the RLCraft and RLCraft Dregora dev teams, go play those, seriously, without being able to have looked at how they structured crafttweaker and Recurrent Complex I would have likely never figured out the basics of them, so to be honest this whole modpack even existing in this semi polished state is thanks to RLCraft as a whole. Anyways, some basic info below can fill you in on some small tips for this modpack. It is meant to be difficult on purpose.

Progression is fairly straight forward, phases will happen as per usual (mostly) with the Overworld, End, and Lost Cities being the main dimensions parasites infect, the only exceptions are certain blocks, the Defiled Lands (another infection basically, just weaker), and the Nether being the only true safe haven, honestly makes sense since the parasites are super weak to fire, makes a bad place for them to live if you think about it.
When it comes to tools and armor it's easy to gear up to diamond within the first rougelike dungeon, which can easily be upgrded using resources from mining in the nether or battle towers and structures, netherite being the first step towards living and sentient gear, dragon scale is better but isn't used for the crafting, you can however still use base dragon bone weapons in place of netherite ones to be somewhat lenient, otherwise it's all about biding your time early on with lures and pillaging every structure you find, a Nether base is the best bet. You have baubles, although limited to mostly potion rings, on death you do not lose bauble nor cosmetic armor (use this for a backup set if you're smart) as otherwise there is no corpse mod, no gravestones, best you get is a gravescroll. And you can stack the power gauntlet with the other two upgrades for max damage, and the rage ring uses the rage effect SRP uses, as such it is also a decent damage boost, all rings only stack up to two times, although with other baubles you can get level three effects. Use bonfires by the way, they are more or less the stand in for waystones here has ways to warp to them and also travel between dimensions.
For survival it is highly recommended you read/watch some guides for Scape and Run Parasites, as it is NOT friendly to the uninformed and new players expecting an 'easy' time, the Nether is the safest place if you plan to survive long term, do note the Lost Cities are locked behind Phase Eight, it is optional and is very laggy/performance intensive, enter at your own risk. Otherwise, hoarding is a legit strategy, hoard crops and resources that become very limited in later phases, water is placeable in the nether to allow crops to survive, you can grow trees if you have enough ceiling height, and bringing livestock is smart for better saturation, although survival off parasite drops is feasible I'd consider it a last resort, and use lures, they are by far the best method of stalling later phases.

TLDR: Hoard resources, live in the Nether, use lures and bonfires, loot every structure you can as fast as possible.
