Steampunk Wizard City

Play VR or non-VR in a steampunk fantasy world filled with both horror and beauty. Explore new biomes and structures. Discover many new friendly and hostile mobs.

The main goal of this modpack is to make sure that everything contained within fits the theme, avoiding anything too modern or high-tech, to keep it RP friendly. VR support and compatibility will be maintained as the second highest priority. It also contains many QOL and performance mods.

Some of the things you can do:

• Become a powerful wizard
• Learn witchcraft and fly around on a broom
• Perform dark rituals and summonings
• Turn into a vampire
• Turn into a werewolf
• Train to be a vampire (and werewolf) hunter
• Turn into a mermaid
• Use the power of nature for your technology
• Make (and automate in different ways) large farms
• Cook many new kinds of foods
• Tame (and, in some cases, mount) many new creatures, both real and fantastical
• Learn to play a musical instrument and start a band
• Furnish your home in a variety of styles
• Decorate with many fun items (including plushies)
• Make and use steampunk styled guns
• Forge powerful weapons and tools
• Construct complex contraptions, powered by gears and steam
• Build railway systems and trains
• Pilot a submarine
• Fly an airship

Other features:

• Proximity voice chat, with positional audio that's affected by the environment
• BotW style glider
• Waypoints and entity icons on a mini-map and world map
• Lots of information about the world in-game
• Backpacks with extended features to increase your inventory size
• Storage options with extended features
• Revive your fallen allies
• Immersive in-world crafting available
• Yes, you can pet the dog! (in VR)

I will be adding server files for download soon. We're still testing what works best on our server. 

This modpack is in beta, but will be actively developed, as it's currently in use by our server. It is the official modpack of GLOSS SMP.
