Description

Summary

This is a modpack created for my particular server. So friends can easily download it.

It's mostly made of basic performance mods like Lithium and Sodium and some quality of life improvements like JEI, the addition of a filter or allowing infinity and mending in bows.

There are a few mods that add new things too. Some of these are more villager professions, a new beacon-like structure and extra blocks copper-related and for decoration.

The star of the modpack is Immersive Portals. A mod to create seamless portals between dimensions. It's used in the modpack as well to create a stack of dimensions.

And to entertain those that are not satisfied with Vanilla+ Minecraft there is two mods that add each a new dimension. So that all non-vanilla content is contained within those dimensions and can be ignored if not interested.

Details

Performance mods:

Quality of Life mods:

  • AppleSkin - Adds various food-related HUD improvements.
  • Automated Crafting - Adds a simple autocrafter block.
  • BetterF3 - Replaces Minecraft's original debug HUD.
  • Bow Infinity Fix - No need to have an arrow in the inventory for bows with infinity.
  • Chat Heads - Adds player heads next to chat messages.
  • Comforts - Adds sleeping bags that allow you to sleep without setting your respawn point.
  • EMI + JEI + JEP - Better menu to find recipes and uses for items.
  • Inventory Management - Adds buttons to inventory and containers to sort, transfer, and automatically stack items.
  • NoExpensive - Removes too expensive restrictions and incompatibilities to enchantments.
  • Paxi - Loads datapacks without needing to create a world first. Thanks to it this modpacks has faster leaf decay, AFK display on TAB, multiplayer sleep and coordinates in the HUD.
  • Philter - Adds a hopper-like block that filters.

Aesthetic mods:

  • Blossom - Tree leaves that will drop apples visually show it.
  • Cooking for Blockheads - Adds functional kitchen-related blocks.
  • Farming for Blockheads - Adds functional farm-related blocks.
  • Macaw's Mods - Bunch of mods that each adds a ton of some specific house blocks. Furniture, lights, doors, windows, stairs...

New features mods:

  • Brazier - Adds new beacon-like structure that prevents enemy spawns. Woodland mansions contain a required ingredient.
  • CERBON's Better Beacons - Improved beacons with more effects. Using better blocks for the pyramid gives more range.
  • Immersive Portals - Portals are now proper portals instead of purple liquid that teleports you. Also allows to stack dimensions. Fly upwards and you'll find floating islands. Also falling in the End now doesn't kill you, instead takes you to the floating islands.
  • More Villagers - Add some more proffesions for villagers. Trade halls are more complete now.
  • Oxidized - Adds more uses for copper. Gold tools can be upgraded with it to increase durability.

New dimensions mods:

  • Deeper and Darker - Endgame dimension offering an upgrade to elytras and more. Portal is opened by defeating a Warden and using his heart on a portal found in ancient cities and temples.
  • The Twilight Forest - The most famous dimension. Focused on exploration. Portal is opened by throwing a diamond into a 2x2 water pool surrounded by small flowers.
