This mod is a Industrial mod with a realistic start that requires you to get flint tools to progress to better tools. Break leaves to get sticks and find gravel to get flint, then find a hard surface like stone, and right click the flint on it to get flint shards, the put a stick and a flint shard in a knife formation in the crafting grid to get a flint knife. Use the flint knife to break grass (not grass block) to get plant fiber, then take 3 plant fiber and put it in the crafting grid to get plant string, then use a stick, flint shard, and the plant string in the crafting grid to make a flint hatchet to chop down trees. I would suggest using Ore Excavation by holding the key bind for it, which can be found in the controls menu and can be changed to what you want it to be. Doing this will only required one wood to be chopped to chop the whole tree, and after that, it will be pretty easy to progress. Also do keep in mind that the No punching trees mod removes normal stone tools, so if you want stone tools, use Tinkers Construct.
