Summary
Technolution Advanced is a modpack that attempts to make technological advancement in Minecraft more challenging, complex and rewarding. It's built around the latest GregTech version and includes many popular technology mods.
How to start
Because of GregTech, your first few days won't be the same as in normal Minecraft: you'll be living like a caveman (or cavewoman). Here's what you need to do to survive the first few nights:
- Get wood. Gather some wood from trees or from the sticks on the ground.
- Find flint. See all those rocks on the ground? Try right-clicking them, some of those rocks drop flint.
- Craft flint tools. Craft some flint tools from the flint you got, the recipes are the same as vanilla tools, except with flint.
- Make a Fire Starter. For a Fire Starter you'll need dry bark or dry grass, you can get those items from right-clicking grass with a GregTech Sword or right-clicking certain logs with a GregTech Axe. (The flint axe and flint sword are GregTech tools, and you can use them to get dry bark or dry grass).
- Craft a furnace. With the Fire Starter, you can now finally craft a furnace!
