Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Features a blend of magic and tech themes in a more Sci-Fi style, either in a "magic like tech" or "tech indistinguishable from magic" setting.
Includes quests that drive progression, whether through a quest book, NPC, or other in world source.
Ideal for small groups of players or cooperative gameplay.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

The Era of Heroes (Pre-Alpha)
This modpack was created when I couldn't find a quest modpack that was for me & my friends who are picky about their mods ;). The premise behind the modpack is that an ancient evil has conquered the land, and you will need the power of magic and tech in order to conquer it. This modpack was just started, so this will be updated frequently. The Quest book is currently not made yet since I am trying to balance ore generation, mobs, crafting recipes, mob drops, and bosses :D.
Also, you can install Optifine in this modpack if it is too laggy for you. I have tested it with the "OptiFine_1.10.2_HD_U_D7" version and it worked wonderfully :D!
