The Modded Experience

This modpack has been created for players new to modded Minecraft, using a sampling of the wide range of mods available for newer versions of the game.  It should be enough to hold the interest of more experienced players as well, providing an environment which the two categories of players can enjoy the game together.

What does this pack offer?

• A wide range of mods, but not so many that it needs more than 4G of RAM.  (We've actually been testing this pack specifically with 4G to ensure that players with only 8G of system memory can run it with reasonable performance)

How will it change my experience?

While you'll still be able to have a mostly vanilla experience, the world generation and plethora of mods from all categories should provide players with many new building tools and techniques.  You may come across new dynamically generated dungeons that have loot which is only available from many of the mods included in the pack.

Hopefully, you will find this a gentle introduction to modded Minecraft with few changes to recipes or mod configurations, so everything you learn about the mods available in this pack will be knowledge that transfers to other packs you may play.  :)
