MEMORY & PERFORMANCE BOOSTS

Optifine is currently unavailable on CurseForge, but can significantly increase your performance if you are having issues. You can download the 1.7.10 latest version from this link: "Optifine" and can be manually installed with these steps:

First go to The Syndrome modpack in the curse launcher, click on the three dots "..." in the top right corner, then click on "open folder" next place Optifine.jar file you downloaded in the mods folder and your ready to lauch!

(OptiFine 1.7.10 HD U D6 also has a very nice dynamic lights feature that works well on low end computer on the fast settings, and looks amazing on the fancy setting) 

Also don't forget to access the settings cog wheel on the bottom left in the curse launcher, click on the Minecraft tab, and make sure your memory allocation is set properly. I like to use 4GB (4096MB) Myself, however I think 2GB would be fine.

Optionally, while your in the same settings tab, you can scroll down to the bottom, and where it says "Additional Java Arguments" You can paste this text into that box for some added performance(without the quotations):

"-XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:TargetSurvivorRatio=90 -XX:G1NewSizePercent=50 -XX:G1MaxNewSizePercent=80 -XX:InitiatingHeapOccupancyPercent=10 -XX:G1MixedGCLiveThresholdPercent=50 -XX:+AggressiveOpts"

If you know how many cores your computer has, you could also add a space to the end of that text and paste this in(without the quotations): "-XX:ParallelGCThreads=4" and change the number to how many cores you have. If you don't know that information, just skip this last step.

OTHER

I have had people request that I also have this pack available on Technic Launcher. If you prefer to use that to play on our server, you can find the same pack here: "The Syndrome" However, it would be much better for all the mod authors to receive proper credit if you continue to use curse.
