About

Description

Thermalized is an expert style modpack centered around the thermal series of mods, as well as being designed to specifically be played in peaceful mode. There are a few other mods added and customized to make the pack feel as complete as a traditional giant expert pack while maintaining less than 100 mods, with most of them being utility, and quality of life mods. Serious things are missing from thermal itself, such as infinite ore gen, digital storage, pipes, and flight, that stop it from making it feel like a pack on it's own. But now you have access to the rf tools builder, mystical agriculture seeds, refined storage, angel ring, and the pipes mod. These have all been heavily modified to only serve the needs of thermal expansion, never feeling extremely overpowered as they can feel in kitchensink packs. As well as paying homage to previous recipes such as the item, fluid, and fluxduct recipes, and additionally changing any other recipes to require thermal machines to craft them instead of a normal crafting table recipe. This pack has linear progression and will require you to build up infrastructure to support the heavy resource demands. Sometimes gathering resources can be extremely tedious and down right boring, but you still want to be motivated to build automation that wouldn't normally be required in a kitchensink pack. This is balanced by having access to fast mining, enderchests, and pipes right from the get-go so you can start automating and organizing in the first 30 minutes or so of the pack. This pack tries to give a use to almost every underutilized item, fluid, machine in the thermal series and does so by either having the player generate resources with the centrifugal separator, or making the player use a fluid encapsulator to make the mystical agriculture infusion crystal, as well as disabling crafting table recipes for thermal alloys forcing the player to use the induction smelter, among other things.

Credits to all mod authors especially the thermal series team.

Quest Book Preview The Pack is linear, but the quest book is not. The quest book serves as a notebook just to guide you along the progression loosely.
