About
Description
Dragons, Tech, Dragon-Tech, and an early-game where Tinkers' is the only gear worth using (or at all use-able for that matter).
A 'for fun' pack, that can be hardcore, including Ice & Fire, the Thermal Suite, EnderIO, RFTools, & Draconic Evolution.
There is a *basic* Quest-line included to guide you through the majority of the Early Game changes, and on the gating for access to the Tech Mods in the pack. (FTBQuests - button in the Upper left of your inventory).
With Mystical Agriculture & Chickens, most base-level resources should be fairly easy to stockpile, though high-level alloys still have to be made.
There are many custom recipe changes/additions in the pack. Most any *Vanilla* item that required Iron Ingots in the recipe has been changed to allow most all *Ore* metals. Many other recipes have higher outputs if you use Alloys instead of Base metals. There are also quite a few recipes that use less material to Fusion Craft.
Some folks might view this pack as HardCore because:
- No tree punching (tools are needed, Crude tools are used at first to get into Tinkers' tools, which are really quite good)
- Dragons, Deathworms, Cockatrices, Stympalian Birds, Sirens, and many other nasty mobs, with No Gravestone Mod (Plenty of options for getting Soulbound, both as an enchantment and as a TCon Modifier)
NOTE: There is the option in the quests to enable keepInventory! Server Admins are encouraged to decide if it should be on or off, and delete the related quests on their server.
Basic roadmap for starting the pack:
- Collect Rocks from the ground, and Sticks from Leaves
- Make Crude tools to collect wood, and make Tinker Tables & Non-metal TCon tools/armor
- Melter & Grout for making Seared Stone bits for Smeltery opening the ability to make Alloys
- Make Invar, Bronze, OR Electrum hammer (with Wooden Tool Rod, NOT the Tough rod) for making Plates and your Gear Cast
- Thermal Machine/Device Frames are crucial for most all of the Tech Mods
- RFTools requires Iridium to craft it's machines. There is no Ore for Iridium, it is a custom Alloy.
- Draconic Evolution's Draconium Ore should not be obtainable by any means. Ice & Fire dragons provide scales, which can be alloyed with the favored metal of the dragon, to provide Draconium.
- There is no way to get Dragon Hearts without killing Dragons. There is a way to get Chaos tier Draconic, without killing That Dragon.
Please, DO NOT re-host this pack on other sites or platforms.
