toasted's realism
No reviews yet
A somewhat realistic modpack that isn't too tedious
Centered around complex tech and/or magic where large-scale automation is necessary, often taking many hours to craft items and hundreds or thousands of hours to fully complete.
Designed to be difficult and challenging for experienced players, often with many hours of gameplay.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Description
This modpack combines many mods to make a somewhat cohesive gameplay experience. The following is a tutorial for basic survival in this pack:
First, you need flint. You can get it from crafting three gravel into two flint.
Next, you have to make these pieces of flint usable. Find a stone block or pebble and right click while holding the flint.
Now, to make tools. Use one stick (you can find them on the ground) and a flint shard to make a knife, and harvest grass to eventually get plant fibers. Use these to make plant string, and make more advanced flint tools.
Now that you have better flint tools, you can mine copper.
The following is how to make a campfire
First, get sticks 2 sticks make one campfire log
Place 4 logs on the same block to make an unlit campfire
Use a firestarter (2 sticks, plant string, flint shard) or two flint (one in offhand one in main hand and right click) to start the campfire
The following is how to get clay and clay-made objects
Dig clay from the ground with a shovel
To make vessels or a bucket, make a clay block and right click with a clay tool to go through the different options
Once the object is made, dig it and cook it to be able to use it
To make clay bricks (needed for furnaces and bricks), put clay with a clay tool in the crafting menu
The following is how to use raw copper.
Put into a pan, made from three cobblestone.
Crush the copper while in the pan with wood pestle
Put crushed copper into a NORMAL furnace
Hold tongs in main hand and take out molten copper
Pour copper into mold, and while holding the mold right click on water
Take out your copper and enjoy!
The following is how to use raw iron
Right click while holding dirty raw iron to clean it
Put into a NORMAL furnace
While holding tongs (or the two sticks item) in main hand, take out the molten iron
Hold a hammer, most likely stone, in your offhand and the iron in your main hand
Right click on a big stone until you can’t shape the iron anymore
Right click on water while holding the iron
Take out the iron ingot and enjoy!
The following is how to make coke fuel (needed for steel)
Smelt coal or charcoal (charcoal is faster)
Combine the hot coal with a water bucket to get coke fuel
The following is how to make steel
Get one iron ingot and surround it by coke fuel
Smelt the crude iron in a BLAST furnace
To use the blast furnace, you need a bellows and crouch+right click, or else it will take a while
Take out and enjoy!
The following is how to make plaster (plaster is the most basic healing item)
First, collect 10 string in total, or two wool and two string (if collecting 10 string in total use 8 of it to craft two wool)
Arrange them with the two wool in one layer next to each other, and put each string above each wool (2x2 space)
You should now have the plaster, while holding it right click and choose a limb to heal it.
NOTE: There are no steel spears
Copper and steel armor don’t have thermal or weight effects
PLEASE USE THE "spears_textures" RESOURCE PACK, OR ELSE SPEAR TEXTURES WILL BE BROKEN
