About

Description

This pack is fairly light weight, consisting of a number of basic quality of life improving mods that are effective client side, and vanilla server compatible.  The pack keeps the vanilla minecraft experience, while adding convenient features that are left out of the vanilla UI design.  Includes things like health bars, tool tips, inventory and crafting grid tweaks, and Journeymap.  From a plain terms perspective, this basically means you have a map with waypoints available, can mouse your crosshairs over things and be told what they are, and look at a food item and see how many hunger shanks it will restore.  NEI provides searchable recipes, allowing discovery of all available recipes without the odd search system of the Vanill recipe book.  Mobs have floating health bars above their heads, telling you how much health they have left with color coding to indicate how damaged they are--green is full health, yellow is damaged, red is almost dead.

With a few common mod pack inclusions like NEI, JourneyMap, and hunger restoration tool tips via AppleSkin, this is a good pack for people new to modded minecraft, as it lets them learn some of the most commonly added features in other modpacks without changing the core of the gameplay.

This was put together for 1.12.2 compatibility.  It may work with older versions of MC, but hasn't been tested beyond 1.12.2.
