Vanilla Bloom is a carefully curated Minecraft modpack designed to expand and refine the vanilla experience while preserving the charm and atmosphere that make Minecraft feel familiar.

The pack places a strong focus on visual quality, introducing enhanced lighting, improved textures, atmospheric effects, smoother animations, and a more immersive overall presentation. Every visual element is selected to create a cohesive and polished experience without losing Minecraft’s recognizable style.

Beyond visuals, Vanilla Bloom also includes gameplay additions, new content, and expanded progression designed to feel naturally integrated into the game. Rather than completely transforming Minecraft, these additions aim to enrich exploration, creativity, and long-term gameplay while maintaining a balanced and enjoyable experience.

Performance improvements and quality-of-life features are included throughout the pack to provide smoother gameplay and a more seamless experience.

Vanilla Bloom is ideal for players looking for an enhanced version of Minecraft that goes beyond traditional Vanilla+ while still feeling cohesive, immersive, and true to the spirit of the game.

The shaders come pre-configured. I personally recommend Bliss Shaders or Eclipse Shaders, but the modpack also includes other great alternatives.

Voxy

The modpack comes with Voxy, allowing you to render terrain at extremely long distances. To take full advantage of this feature, the Chunky mod is included to pre-generate chunks before exploring. After creating or loading a world, use /chunky center to set your current location as the center of the generation area, then run /chunky radius (number of chunks) to define the size of the area and /chunky start to begin the process. Wait until generation is complete before exploring to ensure Voxy can render distant terrain correctly.

I originally made this modpack to play with my friends on a private server, but I decided to share it publicly so anyone can enjoy the experience.
