Description
Variations is a light weight modpack dedicated to players searching for a new experience playing modded minecraft in both single- and multiplayer without drastically altering individual mods. It uses configurations in DenseOres and CoFH Core to provide a better mining experience, lowering the size of most ore veins but increasing their output, making the early game more interesting and rewarding. Otherwise only making minimal changes to ensure compatibility and balance, Variations provides a full experience of modded minecraft 1.7.10 for both experienced and inexperienced players, including various tech, magic and exploration mods.

Custom Dense Ores used in World Gen Variations uses configurations in DenseOres and Thermal Foundation to reduce the number of ore blocks per vein whilst keeping their drops about the same. This makes cave exploring less overwhelming and mining more interesting.
