About

Description

The companion to my Overgrowth modpack, this pack is designed with technology in mind.  And vast Lost Cities to conquer.

Thermal Expansion, Ender IO, Extreme Reactors, NuclearCraft, RF Tools, Draconic Evolution, Immersive Engineering, Refined Storage, Rockhounding, OpenComputers, even Advanced Rocketry to help get you off the ground.

Natura and Harvestcraft for food.

Woot for mob farming.  Infernal Mobs to make mobs a real hazard again.

Ultimate Car Mod, WMATM Vehicles and DecoCraft for decorative and drivable blocks.

Inventory Pets for fun.

For microblocks and bit editing, check out Little Tiles.  I used Chisels & Bits in my other pack, but wanted a different feel for this one.

Plus a variety of lesser-known mods like Modern Lighting, ZwangCraft, Capsule, Cubic Villager, Everything Blocks, Prefab (craft entire buildings!) and the odd Daedelus Labyrinth dimension to get lost in.

Finally, McJty's super Lost Cities mod ... I recommend that you start your adventure using the Lost Cities world type, and fight to take back some chunk of the endless ruined city.

Optional: Immersive Railroading should start off disabled, you can turn it on if you have an uber machine.  You can choose between Waila, Hwyla or One Probe, whichever you prefer.

And plenty of other mods to explore.  I've been having so much fun playing this one, I almost forgot that testing is done and it's ready to share with the world.  ;-)

The original VeeTech mod was one of my projects on Technic platform for MC 1.7.2.  So much development has been done since then.  Tons of appreciation to the modders!

Recommended memory settings: 5G minimum.

  • What's that glowing thing down there?
What's that glowing thing down there? Yeah ... an ocean temple spawned in the middle of the Lost City. I didn't even know it was there till I got hit with mining fatigue in my own basement.
  • Strange dimensions await
Strange dimensions await RFTools rock. Look at this crazy place to try and survive it. It's bleak and full of cowz. I can live there...
  • Funky trees
Funky trees So here I am on top of my only Forestry walnut tree. There are some sapiri trees, and the building on the right is a machinery tower from the Prefab mod. Always surrounded by the endless city, though some buildings just had to be blown up for sanity.
  • Careful with that Axe, Eugene!
Careful with that Axe, Eugene! Infernal Mobs mod has been around since at least MC1.5.2, spicing up our lives. This took some fine shooting with that pigman standing there like a dope.
  • A mix of mods
A mix of mods Fusion crafting on the roof (Draconic Evolution), smeltery and fluid cows in the background, tucked into a safe corner of the Lost Cities world type. Oh, those little farm plots are harvested by a CustomNPCs farmer dude.
