Taking What's Great About Minecraft, and Adding More

The goal of this modpack is to take the core aspects of Minecraft Vanilla---crafting, combat, farming, and exploration---and add a slew of new, lightweight mods to enhance the gameplay loops of all four. Any and all of these mods fit neatly into each stage of the Minecraft experience, including great additions to late-game content for players who aren't keen on just grinding and building. Just a sample of the mods chosen include:

• Xaero's Minimap
• Pam's Harvestcraft
• Tetra
• Atum 2
• Aquaculture 2

New Mobs to Hunt, Fight, and Befriend

To highlight one of the mods, Better Animals Plus adds a great advancement tree and items to encourage exploring biomes and always looking for the next hunt. Taxidermy heads, pelts, and even a brand new boss are just a few of the trophies this mod offers, as well as over a dozen new mobs. There are also mods that add variants to vanilla monsters, a new pillager structure, and tameable mounts. Speaking of friendly mobs, there are also slabfish, cute swamp creatures who can help you collect drops and store them in backpacks (a personal favorite of mine).

More Places and Structures to Discover and Explore

In addition to the great Upgrade Aquatic and Endergetic Expansion, this pack includes Atum 2: Return to the Sands. An incredible dimension of endless desert, where pyramids and ruins hide incredible treasure, and even more incredible dangers. It's a fantastic place to explore on your own, and even greater with friends. There are also new dungeons and structures that dot the landscape, and biomes that are both stunning and unique (all while using mostly vanilla blocks). Most importantly, vanilla caves have been massively overhauled with a few simple mods, making their generation and biomes orders of magnitude more interesting than ever before.

100+ Blocks to Craft and Build With

Of course, Many of these mods add a slew of new blocks to build and craft with. A great mod to note is Tetra, a combat and crafting mod that I'd argue is one of the best mods for customizing weapons and tools. Kit yourself and your builds out with all this, and be prepared to discover even more treasures in this modpack.
