We Love Castoreum!

Castoreum: A yellow oil secreted from the castor sacs located above the anus of adult beavers. Beavers mix this secretion with their urine to mark their territory but the substance has become known for its vanilla-like scent which has made it an ingredient in many foods and fragrances.

This vanilla+ pack seeks to improve the core Minecraft experience without losing the original feel of the game. Improves performance significantly, provides QoL changes and visually updates the game with new particles, effects and shader utilities. Designed to be quickly updateable so that the pack can stay up to date with Minecraft updates. Mods may flow in and out with updates but expect multitudes of quality of life and visual improvements. All with the added bonus of the WaterFrames mod which allows streaming media to the game!

With the initial release, performance mods like Sodium, Lithium, Entity Culling and others should net you a heavy performance boost. Without shaders, I went from ~160fps to 2000fps! Results may vary depending on your system but regardless of specifications you should be seeing at least a 50% increase. 

Some Quality of Life Features:

• Ability to see your food saturation and how much hunger an item gives. 
• Minimap with waypoints and frontiers.
• Items dropped from death cannot despawn or be destroyed by lava or void.
• Loot chests can be looted by all players, providing unique loot to each.
• Auto switching to Elytra when you double jump with it in your inventory. (Broken)
• Ability to pick up small mobs and chests, retaining their inventories. (Broken)
• Right click with a hoe to harvest and plant at the same time.
• Hit mobs through non-solid blocks like grass and cobwebs.
• Crawl on command with "z" (customizable in keybinds).

Some Visual Additions:

• New animations for most activities: swimming, rowing, crawling, etc.
• Enhanced shaders through Iris and Euphoria Patches.
• Connected textures for glass and grass, classic feature of Optifine.
• Dynamic lighting that lets your torch shine in your hand.
• New particles to add detail and atmosphere to the game.
• Dogs can lay down, like what more could you want?
  
  Important notes:
• This modpack can and will get you banned on vanilla servers! Some of these mods are considered cheating by most servers' anticheats.
• Shaders are not required but highly recommended! This modpack uses the mod Euphoria Patches to specifically work with Complementary Shaders.
• If there are any changes I have made to the game that you do not appreciate you can probably turn it off. Almost everything can be turned off or configured through the mod settings. Not sure what an effect is from? Don't be afraid to ask.
