About
Description
Have you ever wished Minecraft was more realistic? Are you annoyed that you have to cut down a tree from top to bottom? Do you ever wonder what it would be like if Minecraft had a more dynamic atmosphere?
If you said yes to any of these questions, then this is the modpack for you!
What it is:
Wild Realism is a modpack consisting of about 20 mods that, together, make a fairly realistic Minecraft experience. This modpack was originally for 1.12.2, but I updated it to 1.16.5. It is more optimized with less mods, but altogether a better experience than before. A great resource pack and shader to use are Patrix HD Texture Pack and SEUS Shaders
What it adds:
- Many new high-quality animals (Alex's Mobs)
- Ambient noises that make the world feel lived in (AmbientSounds 3)
- New fish to catch and eat (Aquaculture 2)
- Monsters don't spawn (Bad Mobs)
- A few new types of weather and seasons (Better Weather - Seasons, Blizzards, and more!)
- Most hostile mob-drops can be crafted (Crafting Mania and Extra Craft)
- A whole bunch of bird species that will make nests and lay eggs (Exotic Birds)
- Realistic animal genetics for most passive mobs (Genetic Animals)
- Cool visuals to help with immersion (Dynamic Surroundings)
- Trees can be chopped down in one click and grow over time (Dynamic Trees)
- Organization and recipes (Just Enough Items (JEI))
- Footsteps (Presence Footsteps (Forge))
- Bees act a bit more like they would in real life (Realistic Bees)
- Improved horse genetic system (Realistic Horse Genetics)
- Better fps and quality (Sodium Reforged)
- Sound muffling underwater and echo's in caves (Sound Filters)
- Status effects depending on how you eat (Spice of Life: Carrot Edition)
- Temperature, campfire overhaul, and realistic torches (Survival Overhaul)
- Better terrain generation (TerraForged)

A few disclaimers:
1. I am not super experienced with modding or modpacks, so this might not be the best.
2. You can use Optifine and shaders, but be warned that it will require a beefy computer to get good FPS
3. I do not own and am not affiliated with any of these mods, so do not give me credit for any of their content
Finally, I hope you enjoy this modpack. If you have any suggestions or bugs, please write a comment so I can fix/add it.
