WITHER & WITHSTAND

A modpack where the objective is to fulfill your role in the natural order as the one(s) above death. Turn back the tide in the favor of the alive, and let It bloom once more. In the aftermath of a large conflict, many of the structures commonly found on the surface of the world have been abandoned, with remnants of civilizations both past and future being found below it.

In Wither & Withstand you may exploit the Bloom's attempts at reconstitution and grow your power through its fleshy remnants, or plunder from its followers' technological marvels.

Wither & Withstand is an adventuring/survival pack where the player is tasked with defeating the Wither, the pack's final boss. The world is filled with abandoned, modern structures that show the aftermath of a major conflict long ago; here, the player may find an abundance of loot and many ways to strengthen themselves against the world's terrors. W&W is home to a wide variety of underground structures aswell, featuring catacombs from the ancient world, new world research bunkers overrun by a withering infection, and even smicrocosms of the worlds future, displaced into present day.

The boss progression in W&W is relatively loose as it allows the player to beat any single boss as their first, akin to Terraria's pre-hardmode phase. Some of these bosses include: Elder Guardian, Charged Creeper, Mecha Pillager X145, the Calamities, the Warden, the Wither, etc. Alongside its boss progression, W&W features a revamped armor progression system where every vanilla armor set has a higher tier upgrade, with stat augments carrying over between upgrades.
