"Dawn of the Flood" is a Minecraft mod based on Halo, specifically the "Flood" which is an intergallactic enemy from the original halo lore and franchise. Given this fact, Dawn of the Flood executes it's task with quite some changes, whether or not being fantastic mechanics or unique ideas and easter eggs. Given the fact that I'm a Dev, I can't really give my whole opinion on this, so I'll just summarize it. "Dawn of the Flood" is a mod that shows the struggles of Steve and the world that revolves around him, trying to survive against this oppressing force, which is the fearsome flood, that thrives for total domination, In this depressing and world ending timeline, Steve tries to survive as best as he can and eliminate the Flood once and for all, but even he knows that this ain't just an Ender Dragon. No, the Flood is almost impossible to kill by himself, and he needs to get his arsenal high quickly, because the real Flood won't wait on him, it will slowly put it's hands on the earth even more as the waves pass by. As the world continues to fall apart, we see him preparing more and more against the flood, preparing to face them and so be it! Because it will either be total eradication or total salvation. Will he get to live another day? You decide.
